The photos in the protected (non public) archive are pending removal due to their largly redundant use of server space. You can still ask for copies (where relevent) after removal though :)
Due to a problem in the datacentre and subsequent failure of the server on which this site is hosted from this site has been restored from a backup. As such the most recent additions and alterations have been lost. This seems to be a very limited issue but if you recently added yourself to the member list please just go through the registration process again.
Thankyou to 34sp for keeping us all updated on the situation and restoring the site.
All uses have been enabled to post comments onto the site. I am thinking about moving away from the preaproved system that I initially intended and allowing regular members to post reviews and suchforth by default. Let me know what you think.
The restriction of new members has now been relaxed. To register simply enter your details and an activation link will be emailed to you so that you can activate your account, after which you will be able to use the site. Typically this will only take an extra couple of minutes.
Due to a unsavory new member, which has now been banned, new members will have to wait for their account to be activated by an admin. This will be reviewed after the situation has been properly reassesed.
Silly me, I forgot to enable access to the reviews section. Well it's now open for browsing. Although there is only one review in there at the moment...
It has come to my attention that there has been some mass e-mails sent out under the email address 'info(at)magic-zone.org.uk'. I'd like to take this opportunity to reassure everyone that these were not sent either by me or anybody else though my mailing system. The emails were sent from ISP pool adresses (specifically broadband access) with falsified details. The email address in question is not in use at the moment, as it is a prime spammer target, and any emails received from it should be deleted.
Unfortunately there is nothing that I can really do to prevent these situations arising and thank everyone for their understanding. If at any point you beleive that there has been a security breach at my end please don't hesitate to contact me.
Once again I'd like to reassure everyone that I have absolutely no involvement in these spam messages.
